Our office is specifically designed for those that continue to struggle with “Dental Anxiety”.  Dr. Hilton has been escalating his knowledge for almost 40 years in the care for those that experience this challenging condition.  He is California State Board Certified in caring for people with a highly sophisticated technique called Intravenous Conscious Sedation.  This is a common certification for most Oral Surgeons, but very few Restorative Dentists have taken the time and concern as Dr. Hilton has to study this advanced procedure and then qualify for actual board certification.  Just know it is common and perfectly normal to have some degree of apprehension or “anxiety” prior to receiving dental treatment.  Some people, however, have much stronger feelings in this regard than others.  Whatever the cause, the bottom line is many unpleasant effects, including heart palpitation, high blood pressure, upset stomach and trouble sleeping the night before the appointment may occur.  Many highly apprehensive patients avoid dental care for many years until their problems become so severe that they are forced to seek emergency care.

Our office is situated on the ground level inside a walking courtyard in a complex in Woodland Hills known as the French Quarter.  There is no high rise medical building to contend with.  We offer covered validated parking to make your experience comfortable.  We specialize in “Caring for the Apprehensive Dental Patient” from the moment you arrive.  We offer an open waiting room with a completely delightful staff ready to accommodate all your needs.  Our office is light and open.  Our techniques for relaxation range from Nitrous Oxide to Oral Sedation to Intravenous Sedation.  We have over-the-patient television with wireless noise reduction headphones to help put you at ease.  For longer complex procedures Dr. Hilton works hands on with a Board Certified Medical Doctor Anesthesiologist to further enhance our scope of practice to help you with all aspects of your dental care.
